Spider Solitaire
Free Spider Solitaire is one of the most popular card games that can be played on mobile devices. It has a simple yet thought-provoking gameplay that can improve your mental skills, enhance your memory, soothe your mind, and entertain you. It has features that allow you to test your skills, including a timer, score counter, move counter, and percentage meter that let you measure your progress in the game.
Spider Solitaire is typically played with two full decks of cards, or 104 cards, and it can be extremely difficult to win. Some variations on the game exist, such as Spider One Suit and Spider Two Suit, that reduce the number of cards used and can be easier to play.
The game begins with ten piles of cards that are dealt face down in a row, forming the tableau. Four of these piles will have six cards each, and the other six will have five. The rest of the cards are placed in a stock. The goal is to create full sequences of cards of the same suit in descending order, from King down to Ace, to build the foundations.
Most computer versions of the game keep track of your moves, and every move counts toward your final score. The score is based on how many times you are able to complete the required sequences and how long it took to do so. The first player to reach 100 points wins.
